The Story of a Photographer

I've been an artist as long as I can remember. When I was little it was always drawing and coming up with unique stories to tell my friends and family. I was always fascinated with the natural world and learning about the stories that revolved around it. As a teenager I delved more into my art and discovered I had a very strong love for photography, it fell into my life by accident actually. By the time I graduated high school I decided that I really wanted to make this passion a career, so I started my business. I wasn't completely done with the rest of my art though, so I went to school for graphic design, which I now have my A.A.S in. Graphic design and photography are such a great combination to have. They're two parts of the puzzle and you can do so much together. I love doing design work for other artists and for my couples! I love seeing their faces light up when I can create something so unique to just them, that's what really makes it all worth it.

In college I met the love of my life, his name is Codey and he's one of the strongest people I know. He's taught me so much about photography, and I can't thank him enough. If you're ever in the market for a videographer, check out his work. Together we started our own small family and we have two beautiful fur babies. We have a dachshund named Seras and a shiba named Quiet.

So going back to the beginning, my main reason for doing what I do is to tell a story. I want to tell your story, I want to capture all the pure, emotional and raw moments that mean the most to you. I want people to see that moment in time as something more then a basic photo. I want people to remember and those stories to go on forever. If I can bring that to my clients then that's when I know I've succeeded.
